Thierry LINCOU Squash Camps
"This Camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the Cambridge Board of Health."
This Squash Camp is for players between the ages of 10 and 18, and offers a fantastic opportunity to learn about competitive squash from world-class coaches while immersed in the most creative academic environment in the world — Cambridge, Massachusetts, home of MIT and Harvard University.
We will identify the needs of all campers and give them the tools to improve and get to the next level. Campers will also enjoy the beautiful MIT facilities with 6 international squash courts, fitness center, and media room. The entire Athletic facility is Air Conditionned.
We will emphasize the global approach that made the Frenchman Thierry Lincou the first player from a non-English speaking country (commonwealth countries) to reach the World Number #1 ranking (2004-2005) and to win the World Championships (2004). During our camp's talks and practices, we will be focusing on the four components of Lincou's holistic approach to squash:
1. Technique: ball control, swing, racquet speed
2. Fitness: speed, endurance, interval workouts, footwork, and plyometric
3. Cognitive: perception, reading of the game, tactics and strategies (targets, defense, attacking, game plan)
4. Mental: focus, determination, intentionality

"I am very excited to be able to go back to Ile Rousse, Corsica, a beautiful French island off the coast of "COTE d'AZUR".
As a professional player, I used to go there in the summer time to play a local tournament and train while enjoying this relax and charming environment.
Lots of training possibilities on the court, outside and lots to discover.
Great people, many different beaches with so many blue/green colors..typical landscapes of a very preserved paradisiac island.
And the food of course!"
